Job summary

A footwear company in Selangor is looking for a qualified truck driver to transport goods efficiently. You must operate a 3-ton truck, conduct vehicle inspections, maintain records, and communicate with supervisors. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and physical fitness for handling goods. This role requires traveling outstation for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle type (3-ton truck).
• Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 years).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 3-ton truck to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with road rules, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct daily routine vehicle inspections (e.g., tyres, brakes, oil, lights) before and after work.
• Load and unload goods securely, ensuring proper weight distribution during transit.
• Follow and complete all delivery routes and schedules planned by the Warehouse Supervisor efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries, including invoices, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and mileage logs.
• Able to travel outstation for deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the Supervisor or Manager regarding any delays, quantity discrepancies, non-acceptance of goods by shops, or other issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform basic upkeep of the vehicle.
