Job summary

Job description

Lead and manage the Traffic Unit, overseeing staff and subcontractors to achieve project targets.

Supervise placement, maintenance, and removal of Traffic Control Devices (TCD) per SOP and safety guidelines.

Plan and coordinate lane closures for routine maintenance, civil works, and M&E operations.

Manage client and subcontractor agreements, including claims, payments, and performance evaluations.

Ensure effectiveness of all traffic management devices, including Smart Vehicles (SVs) and Traffic Management Vehicles (TMVs).

Enforce strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols among staff and subcontractors.

Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction, traffic management, or road maintenance.

Strong experience in claim preparation and basic construction knowledge.

Certified Competent Traffic Management Officer (TMO) from CIDB.

Strong leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
