- Traffic Management and Emergency Response lead.
- Establish and maintain Traffic Management Plan for the Project. To do site observation, designing getting approval, implement and maintain the approved Traffic Management Plan at site.
- Prepare monthly Traffic Management Safety Report and submission.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of Traffic Management Plan to requirements of the Client, JKR and relevant related parties.
- Be fully conversant of the project and Authorities’ requirements in providing safe and convenient travelling of public road user and safe working environment.
- Coordinate interfacing with Client’s representatives, main contractor, consultants, project team, sub-contractors and vendors on all traffic management matters.
- Monitor traffic management and emergency response effort to ensure Project is constructed in accordance with design and plan.
- Lead and activate the Traffic Emergency Response Team during traffic incident.
- Maintain and ensure official project log and documentation files on traffic management status.
- Conduct audit on company’s project team, sub-contractor and vendor on traffic management matter.
- Participate in all meetings, peculiarly in relation to traffic management matters.
- Respond to all non-conformance reports (NCR) and undertake remedial response and closure.
- Undertake relevant training and updates to site personnel on traffic management and emergency response.
- And any other instructions or directions given to the Employee by the Company or immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Certified Traffic Management Officer.
- At least 5 years of working experience in JKR road and bridge projects in a contractor’s organization.
- Computer literate with excellent communication skill.
- Good proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrate positive attitude, good leadership and results oriented.
Experienced Traffic Management Officer with a strong background in planning, implementing, and monitoring traffic control measures for road construction and infrastructure projects. Skilled in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians around work zones, coordinating with construction teams, law enforcement, and stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
