Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Kulai, Malaysia, is looking for a Test Technician to perform FCT & ICT testing on PCBA’s and HLA products. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and 1-2 years of test technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, collaborating on test findings, and supporting test equipment setup. The role may require working overtime on weekends when necessary.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as a test technician in electronics manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with FCT & ICT test systems.
• Ability to read FCT tester log files.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform FCT & ICT testing on PCBA’s & HLA products according to customer test requirements.
• Support the setup of FCT test equipment for new products.
• Understand basic test equipment such as Keysight DMM meter, power supply unit, LAN routers, etc.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and production for FCT test findings, failures & RCA analysis.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting of PCBA’s and circuit failures.
• Read FCT tester log files and understand test log files.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1‑2 years test technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge & hands‑on experience of electronics components, circuits, FCT & ICT test systems and manufacturing troubleshooting skills is an added advantage.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends when necessary.
• Good interpersonal skills, open‑minded and able to work independently.
