A leading technology company in Malaysia seeks a Test Application Developer Engineer. The role involves reviewing PCBA modules, defining testing methods, and developing test sequences using C#. Candidates should have an engineering degree and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in test application development. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are essential. Review PCBA modules schematic provided by R&D during R&D prototype development phase (Digital/Analog/RF) and ensure it fulfills internal TAD D4T checklist standard
Lead discussion on test agreement with R&D
Define test method and concept for each test parameter requirements
Part/component selection, block diagram and test-flow creation
Test fixture for EE wiring and ME design concept
Collaborate with external supplier to buy off test fixture design and ensure smooth fabrication progress within the given timeline
Develop an automatic test sequence for various PCBA functionality including RF using programming C# language
Drive integration of SW and HW test application, resolve issues, bugs and ensure delivery to production on time
Verifying the test systems you have developed and transferring them into production to smooth test operations as well as improve & developing them further
Support Manufacturing issues and ensure continuous reliability of test packages
Partnership with test application team in Germany, passion to learn new technologies
Qualifications:
Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, communications engineering, high-frequency engineering or computer engineering
2 to 5 years of experience in test application development or programming or hardware testing methodologies or test & measurement equipment
Knowledge of test/measurement technology for digital, mixed-signal, and high-frequency PCBAs desirable
Knowledgeable in schematic of analog and digital circuit
Programming knowledge in C# or Python
Good command of written and spoken English
Self-motivated and result oriented, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and independent
Strong problem-solving skills and able to deliver solutions in a timely and effective manner
