We're seeking a talented English translator to join our team at Heng Yuen Minerals (M) Sdn Bhd in Gopeng, Perak on a part-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between our English-speaking stakeholders and our local team.

What you’ll be doing

• Translating written materials, including documents, correspondence, and presentations, from English to Chinese and vice versa
• Providing accurate and culturally-appropriate translations to ensure clear understanding and effective communication
• Assisting with the interpretation of verbal conversations and meetings between our English-speaking partners and our internal team
• Maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all translated materials
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality translation services

What we’re looking for

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with the ability to translate fluently between the two languages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, consistent, and culturally-appropriate translations
• Familiarity with common translation software and tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated experience in a similar translation role, preferably within the administrative or office support industry
