Job summary

A healthcare provider is looking for a qualified physician to conduct virtual consultations, provide diagnoses and treatment, and maintain electronic medical records. Candidates should have an MBBS/MD degree, be registered with the Malaysian Medical Council, and have prior experience in primary care or emergency medicine. Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. The position is based in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, with a shift system including weekends.

Qualifications

• Completed compulsory government service in Malaysia with at least 1 year of post-housemanship experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations via telehealth platforms, providing accurate diagnosis, treatment, and patient education in line with medical guidelines.
• Review medical reports and lab results, offering evidence-based advice, supplement recommendations, and referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records (EMRs) in accordance with documentation standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nutritionists, and customer service teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective cross-referrals.
• Escalate urgent or complex cases promptly to senior clinical leads or specialists.
• Monitor personal KPIs (consultation response time, documentation quality, patient feedback) and implement improvement strategies to meet performance targets.
• Support compliance with SOPs, audits, and Ministry of Health telemedicine guidelines.
• Participate in clinical meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and telehealth service optimization initiatives.

Job Requirements

• MBBS/MD degree from a recognized institution, fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Completed compulsory government service in Malaysia with at least 1 year of post-housemanship experience.
• Able to commute daily to Alpro HQ in Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan, and willing to work on a shift basis including weekends (no overnight calls).
• Proficient in telemedicine platforms, EMRs, and digital consultation tools.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills with high professional and ethical standards.
• Prior experience in primary care or emergency medicine is preferred; exposure to telehealth is an added advantage.
