Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a qualified individual to assist Production/Process Engineers with monitoring submissions, preparing work instructions, and improving processes. The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience in mechanical or mechatronics manufacturing, possess a relevant certificate, and be capable of working independently. Knowledge in design and fabrication is a plus. This position directly contributes to new models and efficiency enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years working experience in mechanical or mechatronics manufacturing.
• Ability to assist in design and fabrication is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production/Process Engineer/Supervisor in monitoring FA package submission.
• Prepare work instructions for new models and process improvements.
• Monitor new line and machine setup for process flow.
• Conduct new process training on machine handling.
• Assist in creating product BOM and routing.

Job description

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum STPM/ Certificate in Mechanical, Material, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1~ 2 years working experience in mechanical or mechatronics manufacturing.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and knowledge design with fabrication jig is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Assist Production/Process Engineer / Supervisor in monitoring and support FA package submission for new model.
2. Prepare work instructions for new model, change process, modification cases and process improvement.
3. Assist Production/Process Engineer / Supervisor in design and fabrication jig / fixtures for process simplifications and output efficiency.
4. Monitor new line and new machine set-up (to monitor line process flow, output efficiency and space utilization).
5. Perform new process training (briefing on machine handling and function, etc: spot weld machine setting and set up).
6. Assist Production/Process Engineer / Supervisor in program preventive actions, process simplifications and productivity improvement cases.
7. Assist Production/Process Engineer / Supervisor in creating product BOM, routing and process flow.
8. Assist Production/Process Engineer / Supervisor for continuous process improvement mass production on line balancing, output efficiency and simplified process.
9. As NPI team member if being appointed.
