Job summary

A leading heavy machinery company in Kuantan is seeking a Technician / Mechanic to handle repair and maintenance of machinery. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field, preferably with a background in engineering. Responsibilities include understanding technical issues, maintaining work areas, assisting in machine efficiency, and collaborating with the sales team. Basic communication in English is required, and on-site job duties will be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate and receive instruction in basic English.

Repair machinery and other components of the machines

Understand technical problem effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses.

To maintain own area of responsibility in term of housekeeping and EHS while working as a team or individually.

To assist on increasing the efficiency & reliability of machines

Repair and installation of machinery and equipment

Read and follow labels, safety warnings, and guidelines

To ensure all work is carried out according to the safety regulation and industry quality standard.

Perform service request related to client platforms.

To become more effective in problem solving by on the job training.

Submit service reports on time.

Able to follow service team to do on site job.

Able to work together with the Sales Team for customers' satisfaction

Job Requirements

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably candidates specialize in Engineering -Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production or equivalent.

Preferable those with experience heavy industry/maintenance

Able to communicate and receive instruction in English (simple/basic communication will do)
