Job summary

A regional printing solutions provider in Petaling Jaya seeks a full-time technician to service and repair photocopiers and printers. Successful candidates will have 1-3 years of experience and a diploma in Electronics or a related field. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Malaysian nationals preferred, and a motorcycle for transport is necessary. The salary ranges from RM 3,500 to RM 4,500 per month.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain, and repair photocopiers (A3/A4), multifunction printers, and digital printers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Perform maintenance and replacement of mechanical components including drum units, fuser units, developer units, paper feed and registration systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity for printing and scanning functions.
• Service and support finishing units and Spot UV equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and on-site servicing at customer locations.
• Provide technical support and user guidance when required.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Coordinate with the service team to meet service response times.
