TECHNICIAN/ ASSOCIATE ENGINEER I - BACKEND/LABELING ENGINEERING

Responsibilities

• Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance with the Quality Policy.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, ISO, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
• Provide technical support on labeling equipment per engineer instruction to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, debug software bugs and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform periodic verification and calibration of testers, printers, MOI and other automated equipment.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is done according to the schedule and proper documentation of all checklists is completed.
• Minimize downtime and perform troubleshooting to reduce rejects and prevent further damage to machinery.
• Measure repair time, conversion time and machine downtime with escalation to management within 2 hours.
• Respond to line issues swiftly to ensure smooth production flow and effective shift-to-shift feedback.
• Safeguard the labeling debug locator to eliminate aging/scrap and provide accurate rework disposition.
• Verify OSA & Barrel lens inspection and Visual mechanical inspection fallout as per Agile document.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Science/Engineering, preferably Electronics or Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in MNC industries.
• Willing to work on shifts, independently and able to solve basic technical issues.
• Good computer literacy, communication skills and ability to report information/data.
• Familiar with test systems, printers, vision software and strong background in equipment maintenance.
• Possess good analytical skills to resolve job-related problems for timely corrective actions.
• Originate and develop sound ideas for process and technical improvements.
