Job Summary

The Equipment Technician supports the maintenance operations of FOL (Front-of-Line) equipment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machine issues, executing improvement initiatives, managing tooling, and assisting with parts procurement. The technician plays a key role in ensuring high equipment reliability and supporting a worldclass manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities for FOL equipment to ensure optimal machine uptime and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and Recover Equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
  • Support Improvement Projects
  • Carry out simple improvement activities aimed at reducing machine downtime and enhancing process efficiency.
  • Execute Equipment Conversions
  • Perform equipment package conversions and device changeovers according to production requirements.
  • Maintain ESD Compliance
  • Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of ESD devices, grounding systems, and related equipment to maintain ESD safety standards.
  • Replace Tool-Life Parts
  • Monitor and replace toollife components based on the established maintenance schedule.
  • Support 5S and Workplace Organization
  • Conduct 5S activities—including red tagging and Kaizen exercises—to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.

MinimumQualifications:

  • Diploma in Engineering(Preferable mechatronics)
  • 2years’ experience in semiconductor industry
