Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Selangor is seeking a maintenance technician. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and repairs on machinery and systems while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Job description
Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and scheduled checks on machinery, electrical systems, equipment and HVAC.

Diagnose and fix faults in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, performing repairs on structures, appliances, and equipment.

General maintenance like painting, carpentry, landscaping, and pest control.

Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) standards, ISO guidelines, and workplace safety (OSHA).

Maintain detailed maintenance records, log issues, and prepare reports as needed.

Work with engineers, supervisors, or external vendors/subcontractors for major issues and assist in enhancement projects.

Be available for after‑hours or on‑call repairs.

To perform other duties as directed from time to time.

Qualifications
  • Fresh graduate with relevant electrical / mechanical qualifications or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years related work experience, preferably in manufacturing plant.
  • Proficiency with hand/power tools and understanding of electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Able to perform machine adjustment or modification & conduct root cause analysis and propose correction.
  • Problem‑solving, keen eye for detail, teamwork, and good communication skill.
