Johor Bahru Area (Preferably Residing in JB) Full-Time | Site & Technical Support | MRT / RTS / Data Centre Projects

Tokai a leading specialist in Earthing, Lightning and Surge Protection Systems, Security Engineering & Solar & Renewable Energy solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated Technical Support Supervisor to support planning, scheduling, reporting, and documentation for high-profile infrastructure projects for our Earthing & Lightning Protection Division.

This position is project-facing, coordinating field support, documentation, inspection readiness and reporting. This position will report to the Technical Director and Project Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide onsite technical supervision and support for Tokai’s MRT RTS and Data Centre projects
• Act as the local technical liaison between Tokai HQ, project teams, main contractors and consultants
• Monitor day-to-day site support activities, including material readiness, logistics and installation supervision
• Assist site personnel in resolving technical issues, inspection preparation and QA/QC coordination
• Perform basic technical reporting, daily logs, photo records, NCR follow-up and compliance documentation
• Support testing and measurement activities (continuity, resistivity, earth-loop, inspection readiness, etc.)
• Ensure installation follows Tokai specifications, MS IEC compliance and project requirements
• Attend site meetings or toolbox meetings when necessary
• Coordinate with HQ for manpower, testing tools, work permits and safety documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Construction or M&E preferred)
• 2–5 years’ experience in site supervision and technical support capacity (Data Centre, MRT/RTS or industrial is an advantage)
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities and Mandarin speaking abilities is advantageous
• Able to conduct field supervision and prepare technical documentation
• Able to travel within JB project areas (own transport required)
• Must be willing to reside and operate within Johor Bahru

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE

• Have experience in MRT, RTS, industrial or Data Centre environment
• Can start within short notice
