Job description

Engineering Design & Technical Supports

• Perform engineering design and calculation as per industry standard, e.g. ASME, ANSI, API, BS, etc.


• Drafting of all technical and engineering procedures, policies, proposals, reports as per instructed / requested.


• Propose technical / engineering solutions.


• Comment and propose changes as per Technical Manager analysis for continuous improvement.


• Keep updated on the technical developments related to the field.


• Providing engineering support to other department on queries / doubts.

Technical Training

• Preparation of technical training plans for all operations and sales staff.


• Coordinating technical training program for employees from all department.


• Track training attended by operation / sales staffs & review performance post training with operations supervisors / sales & services manager.


• Ensure training records are updated.


• Assist in training materials compilation for all services.


• Preparation of competency certificate for all in-house technical training.

Department

• Department meeting agenda preparation and proposal.

Technical Support - Operation & Fabrication

• Produce work procedures / instruction and quality documents that comply with the Company Quality Manual and Quality Assurance Procedures.


• Assist operation team to plan and to prepare documentation for QC work.


• Function as a Project Engineer to assist site work execution whenever required.


• Function as a QC inspector / auditor to work done.


• Assist fabrication team to perform job preparation and QC work, including proposal of work schedule, material selection and preparation, inspection & testing plan, material selection, QC inspector / auditor to finished product.
