Join Yeow Jih Industries Sdn. Bhd., a leading engineering and manufacturing company, as a Technical Supervisor / Technical Leader based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. In this full‑time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations and maintenance activities to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the company's equipment and facilities.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate, plan and supervise the daily maintenance activities of technical teams, who service customers' equipment at customers' factory.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise equipment downtime and maximise productivity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and oversee the repair and maintenance work carried out by the technical team.
• Liaise with the production team to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with operational requirements.
• Monitor and analyse equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to optimise maintenance strategies and processes.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical supervisory or leadership role within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of maintenance principles, equipment troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of technical personnel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (speaking & writing) since need to liase with China working partners.
• Knowledge of relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
