We are currently recruiting for a Technical Lead to join our Digital Transformation team. The Technical Lead will own the technical implementation of a product or programme, including guiding engineers, ensuring code quality, integrating quality, and ensuring efficient delivery. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of IT Transformation.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
  • Lead developers and engineers across multiple modules.
  • Make key technical decisions during delivery.
  • Ensure code quality, coding standards, DevOps practices, and documentation.
System Build & Integration
  • Translate solution designs into detailed technical tasks.
  • Design APIs, data models, and integration flows.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, manage performance optimization.
Delivery Execution
  • Work with stakeholders, project team and Product Owner to plan delivery and remove blockers.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables - integrations, SIT, VAPT and performance testing.
  • Ensure timely, stable delivery of releases.
Stakeholder and team collaboration
  • Act as a bridge between teams: Collaborate with various departments, such as IT, marketing, sales, and design, to align on goals and execution.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships: Keep stakeholders informed and gather their feedback to ensure the platform meets their needs.
  • Foster collaboration: Encourage a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team and across the organization.
  • Platform adoption: Ensure the solution / platform is understood, used properly, and delivers benefits
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Has 6 to 10 years of engineering experience, and solid hands-on coding capability
  • People leadership capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills, and is able to translate complex technical matters into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong ownership mentality, with a bias for delivery and continuous improvement
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide structure, direction, and clarity to the team
  • Practical conflict-resolution skills and the ability to align diverse viewpoints towards a common solution
