Responsibilities

• Manage team consisting of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer.
• Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor project progress, addressing all technical issues, risks, and mitigation plans in a timely manner.
• Contribute to design/code reviews for quality assurance and conformance to standards/guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance, leadership, and coach team members.
• Review all work produced by the team members.
• Provide ad-hoc technical support on BAU issues.
• Meet with customers to provide technical solutions, anticipate customers’ needs and propose alternative technical solutions.
• Build expert knowledge in our industry.
• Provide continuous improvement and refinement of our methodology and delivery.
• Define and manage technical resource plans with the Project Manager, aligning to the project schedule.
• Responsible for forward resource management, team building and staff career growth.
• Conduct interviews, hire and train new technical support or team members.

Requirements

• At least 4–6 years of working experience in Java development (preferably in the financial industry).
• Proven technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and consultative skills.
• Proven leadership track record on managing a team of 5 technical persons.
• Ability to lead and coordinate within the organization together with customers and 3rd‑party partners, if any.
• Ability to cope with tight deadlines and adhere to the delivery plan.
• Significant technical knowledge across front‑end and back‑end technologies, including:
  • Java frameworks: Grails, Structs, Spring Boot, Ionic (Backend).
  • Java services: Enterprise JavaBean, JDBC, and Java Messaging Service.
  • Server technologies: IBM WAS, Red Hat JBoss, Tomcat, Apache.
  • Web technologies: Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Vue JS, Angular JS, Node JS, XML, CSS3, HTML5, SOAP/RESTful web services, React.
  • Database technologies: Oracle, MySQL, DB2 with SQL/PL‑SQL programming.
  • Mobile application technologies: Flutter, Ionic.
  • Cloud implementation with AWS / AliCloud / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, NoSQL.
  • Programming skills: Swift 6.0, Objective‑C, C, C++ (Front‑end).
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Tactfully communicates sensitive information.
