A local educational institution in Malaysia is seeking a Teacher or Assistant Teacher specializing in Mandarin for Kindergarten. The ideal candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster a nurturing classroom environment, and support children’s growth. Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education and strong communication skills. We are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing Teacher / Assistant Teacher and Chinese Teacher who love working with children. In this role, you will create meaningful learning experiences, support children’s growth, and contribute to a warm, safe, and joyful classroom environment. Job Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver daily lessons and activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect.
Teach basic skills such as literacy, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving.
Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, arts, music, and physical activities into lessons.
Observe and assess students’ progress; provide regular feedback to parents/guardians.
Maintain accurate student records including attendance, developmental milestones, and progress reports.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student needs, progress, and concerns.
Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and adherence to school policies.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall school program.
Participate in training, workshops, and school events as required.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
Valid teaching license/certification (where required).
Prior experience in teaching or working with young children is preferred.
Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
Creative, energetic, and passionate about working with children.
Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs and styles.
Basic first aid knowledge is an advantage.
