Job summary

An international school in Malaysia is looking for a qualified Primary/Secondary Physical Teacher to deliver engaging learning activities in sports and physical education. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, relevant teaching qualifications, and over 3 years of experience teaching in an international setting. Key responsibilities include planning lessons, establishing learning objectives, and collaborating with other educators to support students' needs. The position will be available in August 2026.

Job description

Primary/Secondary Physical Teacher (PE) Teacher

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science, or Bachelor of Education or a Degree in a related field.
• Have Teaching Qualification i.e. CIATL, CICTL, PGCE or equivalent.
• Have a good command of spoken and written English.
• Have completed at least 3 years of working experience in a related field and have experience of teaching in an International school teaching in Primary and Secondary.
• The ability to teach swimming.
• Have a range of sporting interests and ability to coach team sports.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities that facilitate engaging experience and rigorous learning.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives and success criteria for all learning activities.
• Prepare classrooms and learning spaces for class activities.
• Develop Individualized Education Plan of students, implement and monitor the strategies to enable student to meet their goals.
• Plan and conduct activities in small group or 1:1 basis, which includes academic, social emotional and communication intervention.
• Collaborate and communication with line manager, teachers, parents, therapists and other relevant stakeholders is ensuring the best support for student.

The job will be available in August 2026.
