Tax Compliance Management
- Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of tax compliance services, including tax return filings.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws and international standards, including transfer pricing and reporting requirements.
- Develop and enforce policies to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
Tax Advisory Services
- Provide expert guidance on complex tax matters, such as cross-border planning, tax incentives, and restructuring.
- Manage high-value advisory projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clients on strategic tax planning and compliance issues.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary contact for high-profile clients and large-scale engagements.
- Collaborate with other divisions to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals in compliance and advisory areas.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Ensure the team remains well-informed on regulatory updates and industry best practices.
Financial and Operational Oversight
- Set and achieve division goals related to revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the division.
- Drive improvements in client billing and collection processes.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within tax compliance and advisory services.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars to boost brand visibility.
- Prepare and deliver proposals to potential clients.
Qualifications
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in managing a tax division, including P&L responsibility.
Extensive knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, transfer pricing regulations, and international tax principles.
