TAXSAFE SDN BHD is seeking a Tax Assistant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Tax Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their taxation needs and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of income tax returns for corporate and individual clients
• Liaising with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for tax-related matters
• Liaising with the Inland Revenue Board on tax audits, refunds, tax appeals and other related matters
• Filing of the estimated tax for clients, following up on tax refunds, outstanding tax and incidental matters

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree/diploma in Accounting or a related field
• 1 year in a tax or accounting role but fresh graduates are welcome to join as training will be provided
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
