Senior Executive, Talent Management

Job Summary
The Senior Executive, Talent Management plays a key role in strengthening Kao Malaysia’s people strategy through effective recruitment, employee engagement, and employer branding initiatives. This role partners closely with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring alignment with The Kao Way as core value and Kao’s global mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for designated functions, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and provide insights on hiring strategies and market trends.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and university partnerships.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.
2. Employee Engagement & Culture Development
- Plan, execute, and evaluate employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and cultural activities that strengthen One Kao Team.
- Support HR communication, internal campaigns, and events such as Kirei Month, orientation programs, and companywide activities.
- Gather feedback, analyse engagement data, and propose continuous improvements for workplace experience.
3. Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
- Enhance Kao Malaysia’s employer brand through strategic storytelling, content creation, and digital presence (LinkedIn, career platforms, university engagements).
- Organize career fairs, campus activities, internship branding, and outreach programs.
- Collaborate with Marketing/Corp Comms to ensure consistent employer branding messaging across channels.
4. Talent Development Support
- Assist in coordinating learning & development programs, competency frameworks, and talent initiatives.
- Support talent reviews, succession planning exercises, and leadership development projects.
5. HR Operations & Projects
- Maintain recruitment records, trackers, and related HR reports.
- Support HCD projects involving digitalization, policy enhancement, and HR process improvement.
- Ensure all practices comply with internal policies, governance, and local employment regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition, talent management, or employer branding.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently with strong ownership.
- Experience in content creation, social media, or employer branding campaigns is an added advantage.
