We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our infrastructure and operations team. The System Administrator will be responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and managing Virtual Environment services (Virtual Private Server (VPS) and Cloud), as well as Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDR). This role involves hands‑on work with both Windows and Linux systems, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the Virtualization services infrastructures to support business and customer workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and platform infrastructure for Virtual Environment services (Virtual Private Server (VPS), Cloud) and Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDR).
- Perform system administration tasks (troubleshooting, patching, tuning, and hardening) on the virtualization platforms (KVM, OpenVZ, Hyper‑V, OpenStack, etc.) and OS level (Linux and Windows OS).
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients under the virtualization services (Virtual Private Server (VPS), Cloud), backup and DR, and dedicated server environments, which include troubleshooting, patching, tuning, and hardening.
- Monitor and conduct audits on virtualization environment and backup services to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and service optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with network, security, and development teams to maintain a secure and efficient infrastructure ecosystem.
- Engage with the sales team and take part in presales tasks explaining the technical details of selected products to the clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience managing Virtual Environment services, including physical hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro, etc.) and platform (such as KVM, OpenVZ, Hyper‑V, OpenStack, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration, including troubleshooting, patching, tuning, and hardening (SSH, firewall, SELinux, etc).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of networking concepts — routing, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, TCP/IP, and OSI layers.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or equivalent).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently when required.
Advantageous Skills
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker in private or hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, or automation frameworks.
- Understanding of storage systems, replication, and object/block storage services.
