Job summary

A leading property development company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to help draft sustainable organizational policies and analyze current practices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role includes monitoring sustainability initiatives, maintaining compliance, and engaging stakeholders to drive improvements in sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability-related work functions.
• Preferred certified qualifications in Sustainability or ESG.
• Good computer literacy, highly proficient with computers / Microsoft Office.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Help draft sustainable organizational policies.
• Conduct analysis of current policies, costs, and benefits of implementing sustainable practices.
• Identify actions and initiatives with measurable indices.
• Monitor and follow up on sustainability initiatives and programs.
• Maintain knowledge, compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
• Assist stakeholders, identify weaknesses, propose improvements, and prepare reports.
