About the role

The Supply Planning Lead drives accurate end‑to‑end supply planning, ensuring strong alignment across procurement, manufacturing, and commercial teams. The role oversees inventory performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement while leading the planning team.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the supply planning team to deliver accurate and feasible supply plans that meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure alignment of procurement, raw material call-off, and manufacturing activities with resource allocation.
  • Manage end-to‑end inventory control, stock accuracy, and adherence to KPIs.
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement in planning workflows.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Commercial teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Act as the key interface between site operations and central planning teams, ensuring service delivery supports performance objectives.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of supply planning systems (SAP APO/ECC), alert management, and master data governance.
  • Leadership Competencies: Builds effective teams, drives results, ensures accountability, and fosters collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for root cause analysis and KPI management.
  • Ability to manage complex planning scenarios and optimize scheduling under constraints.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for cross‑functional alignment.
Qualifications and skills
  • Typically, 7+ years in supply chain or planning roles, with exposure to FMCG or food industry environments.
  • Proven track record in managing supply planning processes, inventory performance, and S&OP/S&OE governance.
  • Experience in leading teams and driving process improvements in a centralized or regional planning model.
  • Familiarity with global supply chain operations and multi‑site coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM/CSCP) are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/data analysis skills.
  • Strong understanding of planning principles, KPI frameworks, and operational excellence methodologies.
