The Supply Chain Manager will foster strong partnerships across supply chain functions, third‑party service providers, and local commercial teams to drive operational excellence and deliver key performance outcomes. Core Roles & Responsibilities
Supply Chain management
- Drive performance improvements through cross‑functional collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor operational performance against customer requirements; align workflows with IT, Finance, and other functions.
- Champion process simplification and lead execution of approved improvement initiatives.
- Oversee end‑to‑end supply chain governance, including planning, customs clearance, logistics, warehouse operations, returns, and related projects.
- Manage 3PL providers to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency; lead cost‑reduction initiatives and maintain trade compliance.
- Ensure smooth cross‑border movement of goods and equipment in line with business needs.
- Analyze financial reports to develop data‑driven strategies; collaborate with Finance and other functions to stay within budget.
- Lead warehouse audits and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Demand Supply Planning
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings with Commercial/Marketing to consolidate forecasts and prepare short‑ and long‑term plans.
- Validate forecasts against financial and inventory estimates; implement corrective actions where needed.
- Incorporate key business drivers (market trends, promotions, inventory needs) to improve forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate on new product launches and end‑of‑life planning to minimize obsolescence.
- Manage SKU‑level forecasts to optimize inventory and service levels while reducing freight costs.
- Provide accurate KPIs to support business decisions and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
Inventory Management
- Monitor consignment inventory effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Approve monthly stock orders and purchase submissions.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels, stock accuracy, and minimize out‑of‑stock situations.
Resource management
- Optimize team structure, capacity utilization, and resource allocation.
- Build and develop a best‑in‑class supply chain team; implement succession planning and talent development.
- Ensure compliance with integrity standards and proactively manage operational risks.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline (Science preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in supply chain operations with exposure to end‑to‑end processes; experience in manufacturing or supply environments preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
- Language: Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
