Responsibilities
- Plan, source, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost‑effective procurement of materials and services.
- Evaluate supplier performance (price, quality, delivery, service) and maintain approved vendor lists.
Inventory & Logistics Control
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock without overstocking.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, including shipping arrangements and customs clearance.
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure accurate stock records.
Planning & Scheduling
- Work closely with production and sales teams to forecast demand and plan material requirements.
- Ensure supply plans align with production schedules and delivery timelines.
Cost & Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs through process improvement and vendor negotiations.
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce lead time.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all procurement, logistics, and inventory activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Team Support & Coordination
- Provide guidance to junior team members and coordinate with other departments to resolve supply chain issues.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory status, and cost analysis.
