Firerex is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to support our growing business. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in supply chain, purchasing, and logistics.
Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) to suppliers.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead time, and payment terms.
- Follow up on order status and delivery schedules.
- Support basic negotiation on pricing and terms, with guidance.
Import/Export & Logistics Support
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners for shipment arrangements.
- Assist in preparing import/export and customs documents.
- Monitor shipment progress and flag delays or issues for resolution.
Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with basic stock planning.
- Ensure all relevant documentation (POs, DOs, invoices) is properly recorded and filed.
Cross-functional Contribution
- Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing and logistics with project needs.
- Take initiative to improve processes, reduce delays, and support the team’s objectives.
- Participate in team discussions, problem-solving, and reporting when required.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Responsible, reliable, and willing to contribute to the company’s growth.
- Good communication skills and willingness to liaise with both internal and external parties.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic document management.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin Chinese.
