Summary

Lead and optimize warehouse, logistics, packing, and inventory operations. Improve performance through KPIs, compliance, and process efficiency.

Job Responsibilities
A. Warehouse Management
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Develop and optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum space utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Strategically manage inventory controls, including stock accuracy, regular audits, and reduction of discrepancies.
  • Drive order fulfillment excellence by implementing best practices to minimize errors, delays, and customer complaints.
  • Establish and enforce warehouse SOPs and safety protocols in compliance with health, safety, and ISO standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate warehouse teams, ensuring high productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, sales, and operations to align warehouse activities with business goals.
  • Implement and enhance warehouse technologies, including WMS and equipment maintenance systems, to support scalability.
  • Warehouse Maintenance and Building Management on wear and tear issue.
B. Logistic Management
  • Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery and efficient supply chain flow.
  • Design and implement logistics strategies that drive continuous improvement and supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage transport planning and freight optimization, balancing cost, route efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional logistics efforts, working with warehouse teams, transport providers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and international logistics requirements.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and performance data, using insights to identify and act on improvement opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain logistics systems to support real‑time tracking, reporting, and inventory accuracy.
  • Negotiate and manage logistics service contracts, driving value and reliability from third‑party providers.
C. Operation – Order and Packing
  • Oversee and coordinate end-to-end order processing and packing operations, ensuring timely and error‑free fulfilment.
  • Implement and uphold quality control and SOP standards for order accuracy, packaging integrity, and data consistency.
  • Optimize packing workflows and materials usage, reducing waste and costs while ensuring product protection.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of sales orders, including customer info, product codes, and pricing.
  • Lead and train the processing and packing team, fostering high productivity, accountability, and operational discipline.
  • Liaise with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies and align fulfilment with customer expectations.
  • Implement tracking systems and reporting tools for real‑time visibility and performance monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, analysing KPIs and enhancing workflow efficiency across the fulfilment cycle.
  • To monitor activity performance of efficiency of the team.
D. Inventory Management

1. Inventory Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies across warehouses and retail locations.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels based on sales forecast, lead time, and consumption trends.
  • Lead periodic demand planning meetings with relevant departments (sales, marketing, production).

2. Stock Monitoring & Accuracy

  • Oversee inventory records to ensure real‑time accuracy in ERP or inventory systems.
  • Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
  • Monitor aging stock and slow‑moving items, and propose corrective action.
  • To ensure timely replenishment of inventory and to avoid Out Of Stock issues.
  • Set and manage reorder points and safety stock levels based on data analytics.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams for seasonal or promotional stock planning.

4. Supplier & Warehouse Coordination

  • Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor goods receiving processes to ensure correct quantities and documentation.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve stock layout, labelling, and storage efficiency.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate and analyse inventory reports (stock aging, inventory turnover, variance).
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates on stock health and related KPIs to management.
  • Support budgeting and cost control by tracking inventory holding costs and stock loss.

6. SOP Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure inventory processes and records comply with company’s SOP standards.
  • Maintain complete and auditable documentation for all inventory movement, adjustment, and verification activities.
  • Lead inventory‑related internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • At least Diploma in Logistic
  • At least 5‑8 years of relevant experience in FMCG industry or any relevant high‑volume sectors
  • Familiar with ERP/WMS (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Experience managing product flow across multiple sales channels (retail, e‑commerce, distributors)
  • Verbal and written in English, Malay and Chinese
  • System Savvy: Talks confidently about using ERP, WMS, Excel modelling
  • Customer Centric: Understands the urgency of order accuracy and delivery speed in FMCG
  • Communication: skills in communicating with different stakeholders and team player
  • Leadership & Ownership: Has led cross‑functional teams or projects — not just followed SOPs
  • Team Player: Happy to work in a team.
  • People Oriented: respect the colleagues and blue collars
  • Strong Execution: high ability to lead and be hands on if needed.
