OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE OF JOB

The incumbent is responsible for providing supply chain support to the Vision Care, Surgical, and Pharma business units by managing 3PL warehouse operations and overseeing distributor management.

KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide information and coordination support to internal departments, including the warehouse and respective business units, for customer order management and incoming shipment tracking.
  • Conduct monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with the respective business units.
  • Review and manage forecast accuracy for the respective business units.
  • Ensure all forecast data is accurately updated in the JDA system.
  • Process distributor orders and prepare purchase orders for the manufacturing plant.
  • Prepare monthly reports and share them with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and suppliers to balance inventory levels and service performance for the Vision Care, Surgical, and Pharma business units.
  • Ensure timely and adequate supply to meet commercial and business requirements.
  • Continuously improve planning and forecasting processes.
  • Closely monitor shipment status with source and local forwarders to ensure on-time delivery to the warehouse.
  • Ensure that the 3PL provider completes goods receipt (GR) and saleable processes within defined KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee stock count cycles and reconciliation with the 3PL provider.
  • Proactively highlight slow-moving or obsolete inventory to the commercial team for appropriate action.
  • Process and track invoices for freight forwarders, import/export brokers, and transportation service providers (LSPs).
  • Manage the customs clearance brokerage agency and assist with clearance processes by preparing and collecting required documentation.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain, logistics, planning, or related operational roles.
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and distributor management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and forecasting tools (e.g., JDA).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, order processing, and warehouse operations.
