Job summary

A manufacturing company in Bayan Lepas is searching for a Production Planner to manage sub-con production schedules, ensure timely deliveries, and prepare precise planning documents. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, as well as in planning or production scheduling. Responsibilities include coordinating with logistics and production teams and liaising with customer service on delivery commitments. The role promotes safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage sub-con production schedules to meet customer delivery dates.
• Prepare and release accurate production and planning documents.
• Coordinate material dispatch with Logistics and Production teams.
• Expedite sub-con production to ensure timely job start and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels in line with customer requirements.
• Liaise with Customer Service on delivery commitments involving sub-con items.
• Follow up on quality issues, urgent orders, and production delays.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
