Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Junior Executive for Purchasing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best pricing while maintaining quality. Candidates must possess a Diploma/Degree, with 1-2 years of experience in the related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good command of Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. This role involves managing the purchasing process, shipping schedules, and material planning.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in purchasing or related field.
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management.
• Knowledge of ISO requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Research, compare & evaluate potential suppliers.
• Source, select & negotiate supplier pricing while ensuring quality.
• Update shipping schedules and liaise with transport agents.
• Generate Purchase Orders and maintain purchasing records.
• Responsible for material planning and inventory control.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Good command of spoken English

Good command of spoken Mandarin

Good command of spoken Bahasa Malaysia

Education

Diploma/Degree or equivalent
