Job summary

A leading technology company in Malaysia is looking for a skilled professional to manage Material and Production Planning. The successful candidate will oversee the smooth movement of finished goods, analyze material availability, assess production schedules, and translate sales demand into actionable plans. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Business or a related field, 5 years of experience in planning, and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of English, Bahasa, and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in Material Planning, Production Planning & Capacity Planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.

Responsibilities

• Review, plan, control and monitor finished good movement for smooth order fulfilment.
• Analyze availability of materials and capacity to develop an achievable schedule.
• Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on the production schedule and reduce downtime.
• Liaise with the market on delivery commitments and schedules.
• Compare the Master Production Schedule to customer PO/forecast coverage regularly.
• Assess the production schedule, optimize run quantities to achieve 100% on-time delivery.
• Translate sales demand into final demand plans for capacity, production and inventory planning.
