Job summary

Job description

To supervise and coordinate all activities related to the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of goods in the warehouse. The role ensures accurate stock movement, organized storage systems, and smooth warehouse operations in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Receive incoming shipments as per purchase orders issued by the Purchasing Department.
• Conduct thorough inspections on goods for quantity, quality, and specification compliance.
• Manage the loading and unloading of goods as required, ensuring safe handling practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of goods received, issued, and returned through the inventory system.
• Monitor and control stock movement including receiving, storing, and dispatching.
• Prepare and submit inventory-related reports such as stock levels, damages, and discrepancies.
• Ensure items are stored systematically and in an organized manner for easy retrieval.
• Assist in daily warehouse operations and coordinate with store personnel to fulfill orders efficiently.
• Inspect storage areas regularly and address any operational or safety issues.
• Oversee and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Coordinate closely with Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure optimal stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the warehouse and storage areas at all times.
