Job summary

A local trading company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to manage the upkeep of their vehicles. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities include overseeing spare part inventory, handling vehicle taxation, and maintaining accurate records of repairs. Long hours may be required, and prompt communication with suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
  • Familiarity with spare parts purchasing and supplier evaluation.
  • Ability to accurately record maintenance activities and spare parts usage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair heavy or light vehicles.
  • Renew road tax and manage payments at the JPJ counter.
  • Monitor spare parts availability and maintain records accurately.
  • Stand-by for breakdowns after working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Renewal road tax, payment of summons at JPJ counter. (every month)
  • Buy & survey which suppliers best supplies, in term of price, qualities and deliveries. If needed, need to take spare parts at supplier’s place.
  • Maintain spare parts at store are sufficient for repair & maintenance lorry.
  • Bills (letter, spare parts bills, and invoices) need to be given to account department every week, Friday.
  • Lorry by lorry maintenance or spare parts must be recorded at exact amount and reconfirm weekly/daily with boss, make sure record which lorry use which spare parts.
  • Maintain spare parts usage and record on checklist at yard.
  • Stand-by for break down after working hours.
  • Responsible on more working hours (include rest day, public holiday) until the job is complete.
  • Meeting with foreman and assistance foreman every morning.
  • Spare parts order, purchase need approval from boss via WhatsApp or call.
  • Monitor store / yard attendance and OT taken by punch card.
  • Record and monitor each spare part used at correct place and correct lorry.
