Job description

The Store Executive is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store and inventory operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking of materials. This role ensures accurate stock records, proper documentation, safe storage practices, and timely material availability to support production and project requirements. The Store Executive works closely with procurement, logistics, and production teams to coordinate material movement, prevent shortages, and maintain optimal inventory levels. In addition, this role supports audit compliance, implements 6S practices, enforces safety standards, and leads junior store staff to ensure efficient and well-organized store operations.

Summary of Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all store operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure accurate stock records and timely updates in inventory systems.
  • Conduct and supervise regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Plan and manage material storage to ensure safety, space optimization, and easy access.
  • Verify delivery orders, invoices, and purchase orders before accepting stock.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Implement and maintain 6S practices in the store area.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and other departments for material planning and movement.
  • Lead and supervise junior store staff; provide guidance and training.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed, especially in handling heavy or hazardous materials.
  • Undertake any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the superior or Head of Department (HOD).
  • Investigating and resolving any inventory discrepancies, material shortages, or other issues that may rise.
Minimum Qualification, Requirement and Experience:
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in store or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing or construction material industry.
