A healthcare facility in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified nurse responsible for providing high-standard evidence-based care in oncology. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, be registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board, and have at least 5 years of experience in oncology settings. This is a full-time position offering competitive salary and professional development opportunities. Work schedule includes 5.5 days a week with alternate Saturdays off and no Sunday or public holiday work requirements.
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of nursing care
Ensure continuity of a high standard of evidence based nursing care for patients, assessing health related and nursing needs of patients, their families and other carers
Safe handling and administration of systemic therapies to patients
Patient and caregiver education
Perform phlebotomy, IV cannulation and chemo port or PICC access.
Drug counseling
Ensure good communication with peers, patients and those referring into the service
Non-clinical duties as assigned by the management
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
Possess a valid APC.
At least 5 years of working experience in a cancer ward or oncology daycare in a hospital.
Having a post-basic oncology qualification will have an added advantage but not compulsory.
Willing to work overtime (but no overnight shifts).
This is a full‑time position working 5.5 days per week with alternate Saturdays off. You are not required to work on Sundays and Public Holidays.
