Job summary

A healthcare provider in Klang City is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to ensure effective supervision and high standards of care.   • Ensure effective supervision and coordination according to Nursing Department Quality Objectives.
  • Be responsible for the smooth running of the unit.
  • Implement safe nursing care through ongoing supervision and administrative involvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of statutory requirements of the Nursing Board of Malaysia.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and continuous quality improvement objectives.
  • Provide and maintain a risk-free working environment.
  • Provide routine nursing care to healthy newborns.
  • Work closely with pediatricians and medical officers for coordinated care.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities
  • 1. To ensure the successful / effective supervision and coordination in accordance with Nursing Department Quality Objectives with continuous professional improvement in the delivery of safe and high standards of nursing care.
  • 2. To be responsible for the smooth running of the unit.
  • 3. To ensure the implementation of safe nursing care via ongoing supervision and involvement in administrative duties.
  • 4. To ensure and have a good working knowledge of all statutory requirements of the Nursing Board of Malaysia and any other legislation related to her/his work.
  • 5. To ensure compliance with established departmental/ unit policies and procedures, continuous quality improvement objectives, environmental safety and infection control standards in line with the Organization’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
  • 6. To ensure the provision and maintenance of a risk‑free working environment in terms of infections and accidents for both patients and others.
  • 7. Provide routine nursing care to healthy newborns (feeding, bathing, diapering, temperature monitoring).
  • 8. Work closely with pediatricians, medical officers, and other nurses to ensure coordinated care.
  • 9. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager of the unit.
