Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to process vendor invoices and reconcile statements. This role is open to both experienced candidates and fresh graduates with a degree in Accounting. Successful candidates will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and the capability to work under minimal supervision. The position offers a hybrid working environment, promoting stability and growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Process high volume of vendor invoices.
• Check and verify billing items, unit price, item quantity and sales/use tax.
• Reconcile vendor statement of account.
• Track recurring bill and prepare accrual for unprocessed invoices.

Able to effectively communicate with working partners at foreign countries

Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong work ethic with an aptitude for numbers

Education

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Process high volume of vendor invoices
• Check and verify billing items, unit price, item quantity and sales/use tax
• Doing invoice attachment
• Reconcile vendor statement of account
• Follow-up invoice & PO discrepancies with purchasing team
• Track recurring bill and prepare accrual for unprocessed invoices
• Perform AP and Purchasing module close at month-end

Education & Experience

• Degree in Accounting or Professional Certificate equivalent
• With working experience in related job or fresh graduate are both welcome
