In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping the strategy and implementation of how vehicles are configured to meet real-world customer needs. Your expertise will act as the essential link between customers, dealers, and internal teams, ensuring each vehicle is optimally equipped according to specifications and operational requirements. Your work will enhance customer satisfaction and streamline processes, playing a critical role in the lifecycle of our partner's innovative vehicle solutions.

Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary upfit subject-matter expert for customers and dealer partners.
  • Consult with customers to understand use cases, duty cycles, and operational requirements.
  • Recommend appropriate upfit solutions that align with vehicle specs and performance parameters.
  • Support sales teams with technical guidance during the sales process.
  • Define and maintain approved upfit configurations, compatibility guidelines, and best practices.
  • Work closely with third-party upfitters, body manufacturers, and equipment vendors.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Manufacturing to ensure upfit feasibility.
  • Build repeatable workflows for upfit selection, validation, and approval.
Requirements
  • 6–10+ years of experience in commercial vehicles, upfitting, fleet solutions, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of upfits such as box bodies, service bodies, and refrigeration units.
  • Experience working with dealers, OEMs, or fleet customers.Ability to translate technical requirements into clear customer-facing guidance.
