Job Description
The Opportunity

In this role, you will lead the local S&OP process, aligning Sales, Marketing, and Finance on forecasting and product availability. You will also be involved with managing demand/supply synchronization, analyzing trends to adjust forecasts, and reporting key metrics. Additionally, this position also focuses on inventory optimization and proactively addressing supply chain challenges.

What Your Impact Will Be
  • Lead the local S&OP process and Consensus meetings with Commercial/Marketing/Finance teams based in India.
  • Be the primary point of contact between Sales, Marketing, and Finance on Forecasting and Product Availability. This includes conducting monthly review of Demands, Supply Match, Sales Forecast, and Inventory health compared to Financial Plan KPI’s.
  • Responsible for synchronizing commercial plans with monthly demand/supply forecasting cycle.
  • Monitor and adjust product forecasts to achieve appropriate sales in the different channels based on POS/shipping trends, DFC, and customer/consumer insights.
  • Provide monthly metrics reporting and recommendations on forecast changes, rejections, forecast accuracy, bias, and item productivity in-line with Global and Regional expectations.
  • Liase with Supply and Inventory Management teams to produce Gross inventory/DOS projections and trending. Also support initiatives to improve overall inventory health by reducing excess, slow-moving inventory while balancing against potential un‑shippables and out of stocks (optimize customer fill‑rate).
  • Set up mechanisms to detect and highlight critical forecast levels & changes (i.e. Demand imbalance, Supply constraints, promotional impacts, POS trends, Market Conditions etc…)
  • Proactively identify constraints and challenges and develop solutions to mitigate impacts all the while keeping internal customers clearly informed of developments.
Qualifications
  • B.A. Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply‑Chain or Logistics is plus.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal), additional language skills an asset.
  • At least 3 years experience in a supply chain demand planning or forecasting role.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint with knowledge of AS400, Tableau, Cognos.
  • Working knowledge of demand planning tools/software such as JDA/Blue Yonder, SAP a plus.
  • APICS certification or equivalent a plus.
  • Open to travel when required and collaborate with cross‑regional teams.
  • Highly organized and able to perform in a dynamic, fast‑paced organization.
  • Exceptional problem solving & analytical ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with other teams and cultures. Strong ability to influence by establishing effective cross‑functional relationships.
