SQL Server Database Administrator (Mid-Level/Intermediate)

We are hiring a Mid Level SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will also be involved in support capacity planning, troubleshooting, and applying best practices to strengthen database servers.

• Involve in support capacity planning, troubleshooting, and applying best practices to strengthen database servers.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Possess at least a Microsoft Certification issued by Microsoft such as "Azure Database Administrator/Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate MCSA".
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
• Proficiency in SQL Server database administration, query optimization and backup/recovery strategies.
• Strong experience in real-time database monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing security measures.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, and machine learning in database optimization (an advantage).
• Solid knowledge of database security, compliance and data integrity best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Able to communicate with client at any level confidently.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Willing to occasionally work outside of regular hours or days on short notice to perform maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
• Fresh graduates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent are welcome to apply as Intern / Trainee.
