Job summary

A specialist IT solutions provider is looking for a software developer in Kuala Lumpur to handle systems analysis and develop innovative Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions. Candidates should have over 2 years of Microsoft SQL development experience and be able to communicate in Chinese, English, and Malay. The role includes programming, client interaction, and occasional travel to client sites within Klang Valley. A competitive salary of MYR 5,000 based on experience is offered.

About the client
Our client is a specialist in delivering advanced IT solutions for manufacturing and supply chain industries, providing integrated software and automation systems that streamline operations, enhance productivity, and reduce costs for their client.

Responsibilities

• This role is responsible to handle software development and system analysis based on project basis.
• Develop Business Intelligent (BI) Solutions by evaluating client needs, understanding their business process, analysing users requirements, and developing software systems.
• Program the computer by encoding and adding project requirements in computer language such as Microsoft SQL Scripting, Visual Basic, Azure, Web Development, SQL Server, etc.
• Confirm program operation by conducting tests.
• Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analysing requirements.
• Respond to business users issues and provide support such as training on site where necessary.
• Build rapport and maintain good working relationship with our existing and potential clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and propose to your superior or management.
• Keep abreast with new trend and new technical knowledge.
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior

Requirements

• Candidate must possess Computer Science or IT related qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Microsoft SQL software development, handling project with clients before.
• Able to communicate both verbal and written in Chinese, English and Malay.
• Possess logical thinking, problem solving skills, communication skills, good working attitude, etc
• Candidate must be able to work at Bangsar South office from Monday until Friday, sometimes might require travelling to client sites at Klang Valley to provide support.
