Job description

Responsible for maintaining payroll-related data in the payroll system.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Calculate final payments for resigning employees, including any outstanding entitlements and deductions.
  • Submit tax clearance for leavers in accordance with tax regulations.
  • Manage and administer the time attendance system, including updating schedules and correcting overtime records.
  • Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize time attendance reports.
  • Handle employees’ payroll-related queries through the ticketing system in a timely manner.
  • Maintain payroll operations in accordance with policies and procedures, and recommend changes and improvements.
  • Support change requests whenever needed.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in any field, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources (HR), with at least 1 year in payroll administration; OR minimum 10 years of working experience for candidates with a Diploma.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and HR IT systems.
  • Basic understanding of statutory requirements and the Employment Act.
  • Able to work within tight timelines.
  • Malaysia payroll experience is an added advantage.
