Job Summary
  • As the window and primary point of contact for all planned work activities which include handling, escalation, approval seeking, broadcast, record management, review process and coordination within and external UM.
  • Lead and coordinate on matters related to Information Security Management System (ISMS) and/or Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives.
  • Liaise and engagement with internal and external parties on matters related to Domestic Roaming in which U Mobile have subscribed.
The Day‑to‑Day Activities
  • Coordinate all UMobile planned work requests which includes first level analysis, obtain concurrence, conflict management, approval notification, follow up on cases of deferment/adjustment and reservation.
  • Coordinate with external parties OLNO's, IDD partners and Network Facility Providers (NFP) for all planned work activities that may have an impact on UM network or services.
  • Attend Change Management review meeting with requestors and implementers to minimise any risk prior to actual planned work.
  • Run periodic O&M meeting with Domestic Roaming partner and push for issue closure swiftly as required.
  • Work closely with Information Security Management System (ISMS) network audit parties on matters related to ISMS‑SIRIM readiness, conduct audits and closure of audit findings.
  • Ensure Business Continuity Plan (BCP) related matters are followed up and closed within the required timeline.
  • Be on scheduled 24 hours standby to coordinate after office planned work issues (internal & external) and Trouble Ticket (TT) raised due to planned work implementation.
About You
  • Degree in Electronic/Telecommunication/Electrical discipline or equivalent.
  • Preferably 1 - 2 years working experience in a Telco industry from Operations & Maintenance (O&M) background.
  • Ability to work with electronic planned work management system.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Possess good public relations skill and able to communicate with people at all levels including external parties.
  • Readiness to work in demanding situation and be assertive to quick process changes.
  • Result orientated with strong initiate to learn and ability to work independently.
