Summary

The Spare Part Controller / Manufacturing Equipment Associate Engineer is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of spare parts, from procurement and inventory management to budget tracking. This role is essential for ensuring that all parts and supplies are available when needed to support maintenance operations.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Manage the procurement of spare parts in the system based on requests from the engineering team.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm delivery status and obtain necessary documentation.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock levels within the inventory management system.
  • Process and submit budget claims to customers for spare parts and related costs.
  • Ensure all chemical stock is accurately labelled and documented according to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate quantities of spill response kits.
  • Track and report on maintenance budget expenses.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • A fresh graduate with an Engineering Degree or an Engineering Diploma with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Work location is based in Seelong Senai, Johor.
