A leading hospitality brand in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Sous Chef to assist in managing the Chinese section of THIRTY8 Kitchen. You will help ensure maximum guest satisfaction through proper kitchen management and operations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role and knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices. Only Malaysian citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered.
You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Sous Chef is responsible to assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the Chinese section of THIRTY8 Kitchen as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
