Job summary

A manufacturing solutions company located in Gelang Patah, Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle costing and quotations for new enquiries. The role involves developing cost projections from assumptions, samples, and engineering drawings, as well as managing project budgets and communications with customers and internal teams. Candidates should have a strong ability to read technical drawings and prepare accurate quotations independently. Responsible on new enquiry costing, quotation.

Develop projection cost from written assumption, sample parts and engineering drawing, engineering BOM.

From summary of costing after gather details and compile data to estimate all production cost considering raw materials, labor, equipment, submit quotation to customer upon management approval.

Follow up for RFQ status

Able to read & understand manufacturer drawing.

Meeting with customer for new RFQ and complete the RFQ on time.

Able to work independently to prepare customer quotations for business Manager.

Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs, schedule and requirement.

Support planning and coordination of program and its activities;

Monitor project budget and track expenditures;

Build positive relations within the team and external parties;

Keep all members of the team up-to-date with relevant project information;

Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;

Coordinating the project and their interdependencies;

Schedule and organize meeting/ events and maintain agenda;

Keep all respective stakeholders (internal and external) up to-date with relevant project information

Aligning the deliverables (outputs) to the program’s “outcome” to ensure om-time completion;

Managing the main program documentations such as the program initiation document and meeting minutes.

Create presentations, summaries report, keeping updated record generate report to stakeholders.
