The Sourcing & Purchasing Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services required by the organization. The role ensures timely procurement at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.
- Source materials and services according to company standards and project requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable material supply.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and maintain updated vendor databases.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Any other tasks assigned by Management
Negotiation & Cost Control
- Conduct price benchmarking and negotiate best possible terms.
- Track and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Order & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor stock levels and create purchase requisitions when required.
- Follow up on order deliveries and ensure timely dispatch from suppliers.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.
- Prepare periodic on purchasing activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business Management/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- 1–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset based on current business needs.
